Cakradhuri Progress

11,000 sq foot of granite was purchased to complete the flooring of the ground floor of the main administrative building of the Cakradhuri. The indoor auditorium is almost ready to be used. A digital library, a recording studio and a boutique will soon be prepared and made ready for use. The porch of the building was recently added, and the stairs prepared to go to the roof where the second floor will be built in the second phase. A central hall has also been made ready for use. The ground floor alone is about 20,000 square feet of constructed space. In addition, the International Hostel work has also begun after a long rainy spell which had halted the work. The Hostel will consist of about twenty rooms and two halls and is adjacent to the Kulapati residence and a guest house. Twenty peacocks born in Cakradhuri can be seen moving around the campus. Two swans have also recently made their home in the Suvidya Sayar within the Campus. Bandhu and Bahadur – the two security dogs of the campus – continue to follow their regular fasting routines on Ekadashi, New Moon and Full Moon.

Ananda Nagar: The Land of Effulgence and Bliss: A Visitors Handbook
Ananda Marga Gurukula Publications

“In this compilation, we have attempted to capture the historical and geological significance of this land of Anandanagar and trace its growth from inception and humble beginning to date. We have tried to provide a glimpse of Baba’s personal involvement and guidance in ensuring that the Anandanagar of the future would be a sustainable one and a safe haven for all living beings. We have deliberately not provided the details of the Master Plan of Anandanagar in this book and those notes have been compiled separately as an internal document of the organization responsible for implementing the vision of the Master. We have taken some excerpts from those notes to give us a flavor of the level of detail provided by the Founder to his closest disciples.” — from the Foreword

Ananda Marga Gurukula IT Center

Tushar Kant Deo and Mahesh launched the AMGK Information Technology Center with a dozen students. Soon, the enrollment increased to 34 and a Coaching Initiative was added in order to assist the graduates preparing for the competitive examinations. This initiative has given a new ray of hope to the young boys who were lost and did not know how to proceed in their careers. Career counseling is also being provided. Mock examinations are regularly conducted to help them improve their scoring capability. Cakradhuri Campus is serving as a quiet haven for these young boys who did not have a conducive environment in their homes to study in a focused way. As a result, one young man was accepted into the Air Force or Navy. These tribal boys had never imagined that they could actually compete successfully on a national scale.
