AMAYE UPDATE

By Mahajyoti Glassman

The Ananda Marga Association of Yoga Educators (AMAYE) is a global network of yoga educators dedicated to sharing the philosophy and practices of Ananda Marga yoga—including asana, meditation, and other yoga practices—with other educators. AMAYE fosters a spirit of collaboration, learning, and service through knowledge-sharing, research, and community-building.

Recent Developments

The AMAYE Board recently convened online to discuss key initiatives and ongoing projects aimed at strengthening its global presence and deepening its contribution to the Ananda Marga yoga education community. Highlights from the meeting include:

Logo Development: The Board reviewed a range of creative options for a new AMAYE logo to better reflect the identity and mission of the organization.Ananda Marga Asana Guide: The Guide is being converted to a Wiki Platform format for easy reference. This Guide is designed specifically for Ananda Marga yoga educators and those who desire more comprehensive information on the Ananda Marga system of asana.

Upcoming Webinars: Plans are underway to host a series of webinars focused on deepening understanding of yoga practices, pedagogy, and application in diverse educational and therapeutic contexts.

An AMAYE on-line conference is being explored for the Summer of 2026.

AMAYE Workshop at the Romania Global Conference: AMAYE will host a dedicated workshop at the upcoming Global Conference of Neohumanist Educators in Romania. Participants are encouraged to:
Visit the AMAYE booth at the conference.
Connect with Didi Ananda Sanjana for more information and ways to get involved.

2 Websites for AMAYE: We are developing 2 sites for sharing information for teaching asanas and meditation. One is for adults https://amaye.org/ and one is for children https://newyoga.org/. Come visit us.

New Professional Therapeutic Group: In an exciting new initiative, AMAYE is launching a Professional Therapeutic Group to share information, ideas, and observations to support factors that will improve and sustain the individual mental and emotional well-being. The board is pleased to welcome Mrs. Neha Malik (a licensed psychotherapist based in the UK, who will offer professional therapeutic services to those in need) as facilitator of this important section of AMAYE.

AMAYE continues to grow as a hub for yogic learning, healing, and collaboration. Educators and practitioners are warmly invited to join in this collective journey committed to self-realization and service.
