In early 2024, Ac. Shambushivananda visited the Juei Ai Center in the Gurukul Building in Taichung, and gave inspiring talks to the attendees of several programs. It was the first time for him to visit the center and he encouraged the further development of Gurukul involvement at the center.

The new building is being used as follows:
Ground First floor: a big hall is used for events, exhibitions, rental space and a boutique.
Second floor: two workshop halls for simultaneous classes and one guest room and a storage room.
Third floor: large hall for group meditations, yoga classes, kirtan and an office room
Fourth floor: kitchen, dining, video studio and residence
Top floor: solar roof attic, and will build AMURT storage space

Emotional Management Skills for Teenagers

This period also saw the launch of our advanced Kidsyoga Teacher program that focuses exclusively on teenagers. The program was offered in Malaysia and China to a large audience of teachers and yoga practitioners. The program is tentatively called “Think of Something Beautiful” and is a self-management program that encourages self-reflection. We explore the seven treasures of self-knowledge, love for all, moral values, hope, wisdom, discipline and joy. These seven topics are linked with the framework of the fifty propensities of the Yoga psychology to develop better emotional management.

The need for programs like this is beyond question as the mental health issues for teenagers around the world are serious (average of one in seven is afflicted by serious mental imbalances), and much of the violent actions in the world 63% according to UNICEF figures) are done by those between 15 and 29 years of age. In 2025 we will cooperate with different government institutions to implement this course as a violence prevention activity.
