Classes by Didi Ananda Gunamaya
Didi Ananda Gunamaya conducted a Teacher Training Program for three days in June at the new school in Ghana. The program included the following classes:
- How to Make a Neohumanist Lesson Plan – Theory and practice
- The Presence of Teaching
- Encouraging Leadership – The importance of decision making for pupils
- Manipulatives Skills – Making Crafts
- Jolly Phonics – Teaching according to the child’s psychology
- Dramatization
- Botanic Drawing
In addition, there was daily meditation and the teachers rotated to give asana classes.
One of the teachers, Benwaa Ghanaian, had the following to say about it: “The training program helped me to have a better understanding of Neohumanist principles and how to use it in my teaching activities. It also enabled me to share ideas and teaching experience with my colleagues. It also fostered a better relationship between the staff.”
